Chinese Buffit in Manistee

Four stars for the buffet, because it is good but I don't like buffets. Five stars for their take out made-to-order! Really nice employees too! Manistee is a great town too. While you are there check out Goody's Juice and Java on River Street for THE best coffee and small plates (including many gluten free choices)!

The rice is yummy but there was dried lettuce on my cup and the food was cold. Also there was a weird goo in my broccoli. but the service is very nice.

Clean and safe to dine in

The staff was so nice. The food was plentiful and there was a nice variety. Food was continually refilled and the staff seemed to keep the buffet area as a priority. It wasnt the best food ever... But I was so happy with my experience.

They offer a huge variety of food selections and staff are so very courteous. We go there on every birthday in the family, then we pass the age % discount on to the next one's birthday to redeem. It's fun.

Selection hasn't changed in a long time. Price is now almost $10 without a beverage.

If you want diarrhea then by all means eat here they arw doing something wrong to the food here health department apparently is not doing their job

I recently had the buffet here with my girls. It has been over a year since my last visit. I enjoy their food and won't wait a year to return. The staff is always friendly as well.

Food was good as always. Didn't like the girl seating us and checking us out. She seamed very rattled and unprofessional. Will still comeback though, because the food is soooooo good.

The service is at best horrible and most of the food is cold people not friendly they do not keep tables clear of dishes and all the table are sticky when u sit down. This is especially true at the Ludington mi. Branch

Food is cold and they barely have beef options. Just cold chicken and celery soup. Their fruit salad has mayonnaise in it. I gave them 2 stars because their crab rangoons were fuller than normal and their ice cream was cold.

The wanton soup, my usual favorite, was lacking noodles and wasn't very tasty. It feels like a trough for people rather than a dining experience. Food made in bulk doesn't have the same taste as food made with care.

Great place for the family to enjoy the beach and if you're lucky watch a ship come in or heading out.

Never take Fried Rice from them. I have never had such a worst fried rice in my life.

It was ok the food was good though I had to settle for sweet and sour chicken rather than pork which I wanted. I don't care for fish and the chicken ribs tasted a little like fish. Service was excellent.

I used to think this place was decent. But they are unsanitary. The cooks do not use gloves when handling ready to eat food. The place is overall dirty. THERE WAS A MAGGOT IN OUR BROCCOLI. So be cautious!!!! The food was cold and overall mediocre. The staff was friendly but a bit odd. The place looks nice but like I said, the food was cold. Which means it’s not great and it will go bad easily sitting on a table for hours at room temperature.

China Buffet is one of my favorite places in Manistee to go, the food and service is great! All of the staff are very nice and helpful, they put a lot of work into keeping that place amazing. Good job everyone!

Food was excellent, food did not all taste the same like most Chinese restaurants. Big selection and fresh. Definately will go back to this restaurant.

Good was ok, we went there about 3 so the food was what was left from lunch time. Not to appealing.

Love this place! Neat, clean, and the food is great! Only complaint is the woman's bathroom needs remodeling. It has an awful smell. Has for a couple years now. Maybe its in the plumbing. But I still love the place.

Food is usually good but do not eat here if you are sick or are afraid of getting sick. Value is really good as one would expect. Staff is very nice and seems to genuinely want their guests to have a good time.

Clean, friendly and affordable

Everything was fine except the soft serve ice cream, which smelled like sour milk. When we told them about it we were told we were imagining it, just like I am writing an imaginary negative review. I prefer my ice cream coliform free. Thanks. Clean your ice cream machine. I worked in food and beverage for years and I am not imagining anything. Yuk.

Very good crab crab rangoon

I've been to a few of these China Buffets in different towns and this is by far the best one. I didn't care for the roast beef because it was fatty and not much flavor but everything else was very good. The food was fresh and a good selection at a reasonable price. Will stop here again when staying at the casino.
